I have always been fascinated by how typography, colour, pattern, graphics and words can change peoples perceptions of a brand, design or environment. I am inspired by the unusual and the ordinary. I create illustrations or designs that are guided by you, with your brand or vision at the forefront.

I originally qualified as a Product Designer, but became involved in play space and environment design early on in my career, and have remained dedicated to a visual approach inspired by the way children see things; connecting adults with what they may have forgotten. I was lucky to train with the progressive play company Kompan in Denmark, influenced by pedagogy and the Scandinavian passion for childhood and the value it holds.

I took this experience to IKEA in Sweden to work on their 'It's for me' projects. To help them see their customer journey through children's eyes and create departments with 360 degrees of interest. If a child looks up, down and all around them, then why shouldn't we? Projects like this, that challenge perceptions and tradition, can create a simple sense of belonging and connection that can make the world of difference.
